To remain silent was never an option for the founders of Wonder Woman Elgon. Driven to make the world a better place for girls and women, our mission is to create a safe, violence-free community for all. Our work focuses on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) prevention strategies by focusing on the benefits of non-violence, the relationship between power and violence, and harmful cultural norms.  As a community-based organisation, Wonder Woman Elgon  works is dedicated to empowering adolescent girls and young women of Mt.elgon

 

Our team comprises of experienced professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of girls and women who are at risk or have experienced sexual violence and their access to sexual and reproductive services . We aim to create a safe and healthy community where girls and women can thrive and reach their full potential.
